“An ice storm is a type of winter storm characterized by freezing rain, also known as a glaze event or, in some parts of the United States, as a silver thaw.” Wikipedia
We live in a southern state. It has been a while since we have one. It is not the most comforting situation when you have to travel. Due to the transparency of the ice, it’s hard to identify dangerous areas.
We went for a nice walk today in a 26° more or less. The wind was not blowing, which made it tolerable. It felt good to be out of the house. We will be driving back to the city tomorrow. God help us!
